Mamta Mohandas has cleared the air by saying no to reports which claimed that she is in love with Devi Sri Prasad, one of the hot and happening music composers of south Indian cinema.

“It is just a rumour. Just because I have crooned in his music, it doesn’t mean that there is an affair between us. I can’t concentrate on my career if I take these things serious”, the actress has said.

Denying that she is giving importance to Malayalam, her mother tongue, she said, “It is true that I am currently acting in five Mollywood films. It is because I found those offers interesting”.

“I am waiting for a challenging opportunity in Tamil”, she said and added: “I would like to do a powerful role which was not tried by anyone before. I am hopeful that I would get one soon”.
