The life story of pioneer of Malayalam cinema, J C Daniel is finally turning cinema. Ace director Kamal has kicked off the work on the project that may feature Prithviraj in the lead. Popular journalist Vinoo Abrham will pen the script for the movie. Vinoo's earlier novel 'Nasttanaayika' based on the life of Rosy, the first heroine of Malayalam will become the backdrop of the film.

Kamal will start the shoot of the film only after completing his new film with Jayaram in the scripts of K Gireeshkumar. This new movie will be produced by Renjith Rejaputhra.
