    Default PHPNuke?

I keep hearing mention of PHPNuke all over the forum, but I have no idea what it is. Could someone please clear it up for me? http://www.phpnuke.org wasn't exactly informative.

PhpNuke is also known as a content Management System or Portal solution which includes web-based administration, customizable block (add ons), surveys, modules and themes. The popularity of phpNuke is quite hight, and best of all there there are a lot of themes and addtional modules available for free on the net, and that no real customisation is required to have the system up and running.

Would anyone care to really explain the difference between the two (phpBB and phpNUKE) they seem the same...both forums, both customizable w/ mods and skins, both you are able to administer right?

    Default phpnuke?

    Um kicker,
Saying that would mean that Invision Power Board and PHPBB are same thing. But they are obviously not for different features and coding.

if you wanna use forum... I suggest use vbulletin.

if you wanna use portal, use PHP-Nuke
