Chartres Cathedral
UNESCO's World Heritage Site, 80 km SW of Paris, 113 m

The construction of this finest Gothic cathedral was started in 1205 AD and it took 66 year to complete. The cathedral has stained glass windows, hundreds of sculptures, tunic believed to be worn by the Virgin Mary at Christ's birth and two spires (105 m and 113 m).
