Saikumar the veteran actor of Malayalam cinema has done innumerable character and bad-man roles.

But in The King and Commissioner, he plays Amoorthananthaji, a god-man. Director Shaji Kailas confesses that 'Saikumar is a dangerous actor and he is one of the main highlights of the film. A hundred expressions run through his face in a minute and he is truly talented'.
