Pooja has reacted to media reports that claimed that she was sacked by Bala from his forthcoming film, which has tentatively been titled ‘Paradesi’. “I explained my position to Bala and he relieved me from the project,” she said.
Giving more details, the ‘Jay Jay’ and ‘Attagasam’ actress said, “Bala roped me in for the film in February and I had just 20 days of shooting. But not even one day of shoot could be conducted due to the strike in the industry.”
She added: “As per an earlier commitment, I have to go to Australia in June to shoot for another film. So I could not allot fresh dates as requested by Bala. The director understood my situation.”
Dismissing rumors that she had entered into wedlock with an entrepreneur, Pooja wondered as to what could be the reason behind such a gossip. “I will make an official announcement when I am getting married,” she signs off.
