Default Whts faster n better - MsAccess or Mysql

    Hello,
Well i'm preparing to launch my new site. Since i want to start with little investments i plan to go for linux hosting with mysql support and 10mb space.

But before i start i just want to know whether 10 mb space will be enough during the first 2 to 3 months. Since i wont be using graphics in this site my concern is only abt the database. Suppose there is a directory containing a list of sites based on catagories and there are a record of 1000 websites in it with their url, title, discription, etc. wht would be its file size.
Please reply to me fast coz i'm already behind my schedule.

10 MB Web space will be enough for a directory with 1000 Links.

I would use Linux server with PHP and MySQL.

I vote for MySQL. Its good for web as it support SQL Query.

MS Access it have a 10 user at a time limit, but is ok for small web sites. Good for those who use ASP.

I use PHP and MySQL for designing web sites.

MySQL is probally the fastest because of the 'extentions' or whatever you want to call them. Check out InnoBB (or something like that). I'm not too expirenced with other mysql stuff, nor other databases, but mysql is the easiest to learn because more people talk and have tutorials for them (like me).
PostgreSQL seems really nice... but I'm never tried it. I believe you can change the type of SQL by changing the funtion command. Such as mysql_query() should be something like prsql_query() or whatever the 5 abriviated letters are for that database. You have to be careful that you don't use a feature that may not be supported in other SQLs...what do I know...don't listen to me anymore...I have nothing more to say...stop reading this...please...I'm tired of typing...so will you stop reading this...thank you.
