Candidates with rank up to 2428 have been allotted seats under State Merit for the MBBS course, as per the second allotment announced by Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, on 7th September, 2013. Giving relief to the Medical spirants, over 700 seats were allotted in the second round of allotment. The CEE had earlier announced that there are 549 seats lying vacant for MBBS and 154 for BDS. In the Government Medical Colleges, the last allotment under the State Merit has gone to rank 758.
In the Government Controlled Cooperative Medical Colleges, the last allotment in State merit has gone to Rank No 1293. At CMC, the last allotment to the Management seats there for MBBS has gone to Rank 2639.
In the Private Self financing Colleges, the last rank allotted for MBBS in State Merit is 2428.
In the BDS stream, the last allotment in Govt Dental Colleges in State Merit has gone to rank 2575. It is 2857 in Govt Controlled Cooperative Dental College and 4102 in Private Self financing Dental Colleges.
This is the last allotment to the Colleges under Kerala Christian Professional College Managements’ Federation as well as to another Medical college. Accordingly, candidates getting allotment to Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, Amala Nagar, Thrissur, Jubilee Mission Medical College& Research Institute, Thrissur, Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical College, Kolencherry, Ernakulam, Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Thiruvalla, Pushpagiri College of Dental Sciences, Thiruvalla and Dr.Somervell Memorial CSI Medical College, Karakkonam, Thiruvananthapuram, have to remit the fee and join the college failing which they will have to pay penalty as per relevant Government orders. They will not be having any higher options for the next round of allotment.
