New to PHP, Need help
Hi, I am new to PHP
I understand what it does, but I get lost in all the coding!!
I am wondering if anyone knows a site that has templates for something as simple as a form box where users can imput text, and have that text sent to a file (which is a database im guessing) or something so i can read it later.
Any help with this would be great!!

Pop down to the library and get a good book. There's nothing better in my opinion. You'll waste a year trying to do it with online tutorials.

hi ozhumor. Well I also tried to do some php once for a different web page. Unfortunately I never used php or formmail ( in case that sthe same ) well i found a nice program that helps you with all kind of php forms you want to create. Its called PHP Designer 2007 and is free.
it helped me to create some easy looking questionaire, which usually needs a long complicated looking code.
well here the link:

another more simpler way in creating php form scripts things, just use the the coffeecup form builder, its more or less free as well , but has a little banner underneath your form unless you pay for it:

welcome friend
PHP is a powerful server-side scripting language for creating dynamic and interactive websites.
PHP is the widely-used, free, and efficient alternative to competitors such as Microsoft's ASP. PHP is perfectly suited for Web development and can be embedded directly into the HTML code.
The best place to start is:
