How to Reduce Stress
Have positive outlook to your life. If your expectations from yourself are a cause of stress, then reassess your expectations. See if these are realistic. Evaluate the hurdles and look for the ways on how to handle those. Most probably, you will find that you are not able to maintain balance between work and family or personal life.
Many people who are unable to deal with stress have very poor time management skills. Create a to-do list every morning and check off your accomplishments at the end of the day. You may be stressed because you want to do most of the stuff by yourself. Delegating responsibilites can help you to reduce stress on yourself. Its also get more free time in your personal life.
Find time to share a joke . A good hearted laughter is an excellent tonic to help you relieve stress.
When someone makes you angry, remember that you have a choice in how you react. Breath deeply when you feel stressed. Get up and change your environment, if only for a short time.
Your bed should NOT be for: watching television, balancing your checkbook, arguing with your spouse, checking your e-mail, or making phone calls. When in bed, books are OK, laptops are not.
Go for a walk and talk with your best friend or simply write everything down about what happened regarding work or you situation etc. Then screw up the paper and throw it away. This will surely feel us great relaxation for mind.
If you are stressed, change your concentration to any interesting works or hobbies. This will change your life and automatically you feel well.
Meditation and yoga are exceptional stress busters. Do some meditation to relax your mind. Create a time for your own kind of meditation. Find a quiet space and a quiet time that’s just for you. Try to have more self control in situations when you are expecting conflict.
