MOHALI: The pie-chucker has arrived. Yuvraj Singh announced on his arrival at the media briefing on Monday. England captain Kevin Pietersen had given that new name to the Indian lefthander after skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni brought him in the third over of the innings on Sunday.

“I knew this would be the first question to be asked today.

That is the reason I announced that pie-chucker was coming.

When I got up in the morning I read in the papers about this. I was wondering what it was. It shows that KP is taking out on me. If I’m a useless bowler getting him out five times then he should be useless batsman I would say. But KP is phenomenal player at end of the day.

“He batted like a champion. If you see his record he has got 15 centuries out of 41 matches. It is a phenomenal achievement. It is good competition on the field. But I like the name. However, I have not got the habit of washing dirty linen off the pitch,” he said.
