    Rasa Sayang. Satay with Peanut Sauce is a very popular dish in Malaysia. It is the mainstay of Malaysian Cuisine where beef or chicken is served in spicy peanut sauce is served. Nasi Lemak is a morning favorite among the people of Malaysia. The dish comprises of rice served with coconut milk and served with chilly pate, anchovies, peanuts and cucumber.

    Malaysia boasts of a number of tourist attractions in Malaysia. The capital city of Kuala Lumpur has plenty to offer in terms of shopping, entertainment and sightseeing. The other popular tourist destinations in the country are Penang, Johor, Selangor, Langkawi among many others. Each state in Malaysia is different from the other in terms of the people, their culture and lifestyle. Visiting each state is a completely new experience.     Batang Ai National Park, Sarawak, Malaysia

    Malaysia is country, which is blessed with enthralling natural beauty. The country is renowned worldwide for its geographical diversity and natural attractions. Batang Ai National Park, Sarawak, Malaysia is one of the numerous national parks of the country, which are famous for their natural beauty and diverse flora and fauna. It is situated in the Sri Aman Division of Sarawak, in eastern Malaysia on the island of Borneo and the park is about 250 km away from east of Kuching.

    Batang Ai National Park stretches over an area of 240 square kilometers and boasts of verdant rainforests featuring some of the endangered and rare species of animals. There is also a 24 square kilometer artificial lake inside the park that was created by the Batang Ai hydroelectric reservoir.     Bera Lake, Malaysia


    Bera Lake is located in Southwest Pahang in Malaysia and is the largest natural fresh water lake in Peninsula Malaysia. The lake is approximately 35km long and 20km wide.

    Bera Lake in Malaysia plays an important role in flood control, water flow regulation and purification. The lake also provides natural resources to the local community. The lake is protected under an international treaty Ramsar Convention. The treaty was declared in November 1994. The State Government of Pahang has undertaken plans to formulate a nature based tourism development plan. This plan includes the establishment of a visitor or field study center, the training of site personnel, and the integration of the local community into the overall development.

    Bera Lake is also a sanctuary where you would come across 328 species of flora, 200 bird species, 50 mammals and more than 95 different species of fish. The wetland area and its surrounding forests support tigers, elephants and other endangered species which are however a bit difficult to discover. Other species known to exist in the Bera Lake area include clouded leopard, wild boars, monkeys, flying squirrels, and flying lemurs. You will spot a large number of fresh water fish species such as popular aquarium and sport fishes.

    Nature enthusiasts will find the Bera Lake an ideal palace for recreational and adventurous activities. Visitors can indulge in jungle trek, participate in river safaris, or go fishing especially after heavy rains. The surroundings of the open waters are relatively isolated and tranquil and are perfect for boating or kayaking. Visitors can cruise river channels and inlets in search of vegetation and wildlife if they so desire.

    Commonwealth Forest Park, Malaysia

    Selangor is one of the most developed states of Malaysia. It is progressing rapidly with the Federal Government undertaking a number of new projects. The Government is also taking active states to promote tourism since Selangor is the most fascinating and scenic tourist destinations in Malaysia. It provides visitors with a delightful and never ending discovery.

    Commonwealth Forest Park is a popular tourist attraction in Malaysia is situated not far from the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. The Park is located beside the trunk road.

    The Commonwealth Forest Park was launched to commemorate the 14th Commonwealth Forest Conference in 1993. The park combines dense jungles with formal arrangements. Visitors coming in to the park can take advantage opf a number of amenities such camping grounds, chalets, fountains, jogging tracks, hiking trails and other amenities that will give visitors plenty of choices to getaway into the greens.

    The park was opened to the public at the Commonwealth Forestry Conference in Kuala Lumpur in 1993. The park is spread over a total area of more than 620hectares and a substantial portion of that area has been designated as recreational forest. The park offers visitors a beautiful opportunity to getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city and spend some time in the calm and serene environment of the park

    Danum valley, Malaysia

    Danum Valley, Malaysia is situated about 83 km southwest of Lahad Datu and is very rich in wildlife. The valley comprises of a large area of virgin forest rich in flora and fauna. The area has been recognized as one of the world's most complex ecosystems.

    You will come across rare species such as the Sumatran rhinoceros, orang utans, gibbons, mousedeer and bearded pigs roaming around the forests of Danum Valley. You will also come across over 270 species of birds in the area. The Danum Field Research Centre is located within the confines of this forest reserve and was found by the Sabah Foundation in 1986. The field center is a tropical rainforest research and environmental education station. Accommodation at the Research Center is available only for researchers and scientists on assignments. You could visit the center if you wish to but you need to take permission from Sabah Foundation at their Lahad Datu office.

    Danum Valley also boasts of one of the first eco resort which is known as the Borneo Rainforest Lodge. The Lodge features a restaurant, a bar and comfortable chalets that overlook the Danum River. Some of the activities that you could find here include jungle trekking, river swimming, bird watching, night jungle tours, and excursions to nearby logging sites and timber mills.

    You could travel to Danum Valley by air and land. In order to get there you would need to take a flight from Kota Kinabalu to Lahad Datu in the morning, and then travel another 2½ hours by road to reach the valley.

    Fraser's Hill, Malaysia

    Malaysia is blessed with the abundance of wonderful natural beauties. One of favorite tourist destinations in Malaysia is Fraser's Hill, Malaysia. Fraser's Hill of Malaysia is located on the Titiwangsa Ridge in Pahang state. This famous place is about 104 kilometers from the capital city Kuala Lumpur. It is one of the popular hill resorts in Malaysia.

    Fraser's Hill has been named so after Louis James Fraser, who was a British fortune hunter and colonial adventurer. The hill is situated at 1,524 meters above the sea level. The hill is built on seven hills and is a wonderful place for birdwatchers. A visit to Fraser's Hill will pamper you with lush greenery, refreshing mountain air and above all, an environment that is calm and tranquilizing. The average temperature remains around 18-20 degree Celsius. You will find a vast array of flora like flowers and plants in the nurseries. The nurseries are particularly popular with the ladies.

    To get to Fraser's Hill Malaysia, you can consider taking the North-South Highway. Tourists and visitors can indulge in different activities like horse riding, bird watching, wildlife viewing and other recreational activities. There are golf courses which are a treat to the eyes. Besides, one can indulge in a variety of sports like table tennis, badminton, tennis, racquetball, archery, go-cart, board games, volleyball, boating and much more.
