Malayalam superstar Mohanlal’s chic action thriller ‘Sagar Alias Jacky’ is ready to make a splash in Tamil Nadu. No not as a remake with the same stars but as a dubbed version.

The Tamil dubbed version is given a Vijayakanth style title ‘Vetri Nadai’. ‘Sagar Alias Jacky’ which was touted as the mother of all stylish films made in Malayalam is expected to cash on the rekindled popularity of Mohanlal after the hit ‘Unnaipol Oruvan’ in which he did a parallel role to Kamal Haasan. Beautiful Bhavana already has a steady fan following in Tamil Nadu.

‘Vetri Nadai’ alias Sagar Alias Jacky’ which made as a sequel to the 1989 film Irupatham Noottandu is readying for a safe March release when no direct Tamil will be there for competition.
