Can I have a flash intro for my free hosted forum?

Yes easyily, just create a new index.html, and place a flash document player on it. Then link it to the file (upload that onto your ftp) and then...done!!! its easy.

Get a free hosting account, upload your Flash Intro to that account. Once Flash Intro is finished, forward user to your phpbb forum.

Yeah, use flash's action script to make it redirect to your remotely hosted forum
