Tamil actor and film producer Prabhu (Pic: ENS/File). Tamil actor and film producer Prabhu (Pic: ENS/File). ERODE: Actors Prabhu and Ramarajan sustained minor injuries when a branch of a tree fell on their car at Chinnathambipalayam, Andhiyur, around 1.30 am on Monday.

It is stated that three actors, Prabhu, Ramarajan and Thyagarajan, were travelling in a car, driven by Danasekar, from Chennai to attend a marriage function at Udumalpet. When the car was proceeding near Chinnathambipalayam, suddenly a branch of a tamarind tree, due to heavy rain, broke and fell on the car.

The windscreen was damaged and splinters that hit Prabhu’s face caused injuries above the right eye. Ramarajan also sustained cut injuries on his left hand, while Danasekar sustained some injuries on his neck. However, Thyagarajan escaped unhurt.

Locals, after hearing the news about the accident, rushed Prabhu, Ramarajan and Danasekar to a nearby hospital where first aid was administered to them.
