Not only my favourite Hanks movie, but my favourite movie of all time ... Forrest Gump !!!

I can't believe no one has even mentioned that movie.

Also, Big was also great for it's time.

on my top of the list would be sleepless seattle and you've got mail because both are so heart-warming and unrealistic as far as i can understand how this world works. Nevertheless, isn't the point of making movies to dream what we can't even dream of, to go where we can't go, and to show what we can't even imagine....

I'm not a big Tom Hanks fan but there are few movies of his I really like. Maybe not because of him, but just for the film itself:

The Green Mile
Forrest Gump
The Terminal

Honestly, I would have liked them if a different actor was cast, but Hanks did really well in the Terminal so mayone only he could have pulled it off that well.
