    For strong bones
    Include enough calcium in your diet and don't forget your walks in cool sunlight. Also, do strength-training exercises to boost bone health.

    Healthy snacking
    Add crushed digestive biscuits in your apple crumble recipe to make it more healthy and tasty.

    Coughing woes
    Take a teaspoon of onion juice mixed with honey 2-3 times a day to ease cough.

    Menopause
    Drink beetroot juice regularly. Take it in small quantities (around 30gm), three times a day. It will provide relief against menopause.

    Cure Dysentery
    Have half a teaspoon of Isabgol, mixed in a bowl of curd, about three times a day.

    For sound sleep
    Have a glassful of lettuce juice daily before bedtime for sound sleep. Lettuce contains lectucarium, which helps induce sleep.

    Prevent insomnia
    Drink a glass of warm milk with honey at bedtime to relax yourself. It will also help do away with insomnia.

    Cure stomach ailments
    Soak 4-5 dried figs in half a glass of water before you go to bed, and eat the fruit first thing in the morning to get rid of stomach problems.

    Fight tooth ache
    Gently bite into a clove of garlic smeared with salt, letting the juice seep into your tooth. This will surely provide relief.

    Control blood sugar
    Add a teaspoon of dried and powdered jamun seeds to a cup of milk, and drink it first thing in the morning.

    High Blood Pressure
    Eat avocados as they are a good source of vitamins and dietary fibre and keep blood pressure under control.

    Control diabetes
    Having fenugreek seeds soaked in water overnight, in the morning, on an empty stomach, helps maintain blood sugar levels.

    Get heathy bones
    For strong bones, eat a lot of low-fat dairy products like skimmed milk, curd, lassi or buttermilk. Regular exercise is also a must.

    For soft hands and feet
    Moisturise your hands and feet well with an oil-based moisturiser before going to bed every night. This will keep them soft and supple.

    Check blood sugar
    Invest in a glucometer to monitor your blood sugar. Do weight-training and snack on flaxseeds, sesame and sunflower seeds to build stronger bones.

    Check your diet
    Avoid foods high in sat fat, sugar and salt to keep a check on your blood glucose levels.
