    Default My view as regards Upgrades

    There's a bunch of people requesting upgrades they don't actually need, or so I think. Poorly developped websites, with no big files, nor images. Just a couple of htmls and some little images. I don't think they will be receiving more than 2 visits a day. What do you want the upgrade for?

    I guess they just see there's the possibility of a FREE upgrade and they request it just in case.

    If you really need the upgrade, i.e. your site receives hundreads of visitors a day, or you have quite a few large files which might be requested by visitors, then ask for it. Otherwise, save admins time, and save bizhat some money by not posting uselessly.

    This is my humble opinion.

    =============================

    Just a little example.

    Initial Monthly Bandwidth: 500 MB

    That is, if distributed homogeneously: 16,6 MB a days

    Accounting for images, htmls and so (no videos, nor audio, nor downloads) we could say a user "consumes" 1 MB per visit to the site.

    Then you can get upto 16 visitors per day, or 480 visitors a month requesting 1 MB.

    So, for little, unvisited sites, that could be a bunch of people!

    ===============

    Next time you ask for an upgrade, please bare in mind these facts. And ask for the upgrades if you really need it. In this way we can all take profit of Bizhat.
    I have seen free hosting services degrade their services because of issues like this. I was on Freeservers.com when they still had no adds, they had FTP upload, cgi scripts, and lot's more. Have you seen them now?
    Same thing with Porltand.co.uk. Their servers are always down, etc.

    So let's make an effort for Bizhat not to become something like that in the future. We all know Bizhat rocks! So, let's look after it all together.

    Default I agree

    I kinda agree with you. We should only request if we really need it.

    well someone just want to take advantage on the higher feature of bizhat services and bizhat allows them to request if they exceed the requirements to do so they just do it...and I do agree with you on the mentions above..thank you for good guides to it.
