Actor Neha Dhupia, who was pigeonholed for her bold roles at the start of roles at the start of her career due to her sensual role in the controversial movie Julie (2004), is happy that she is breaking away from her sex symbol image .

"I am going to admit that I have had a very strong image in the past which I have been trying to break out... or come out of, and that is only because of my choice of films. I remember there was a point when everyone used to say that I am a sex symbol, I am happy people don't ask me about that anymore," Neha says, pointing out that she had also done many performance-oriented roles in films like Dasvidaniya (2008), Phas Gaye Re Obama (2010) and Dear Friend Hitler among others.
