Kanjiramattom Mosque is believed to be built as a memorial to Sheikh Fariduddin and is 27 km from Kochi/near Thalayolaparambu.

13 January 2012 : During the Chandanakkudam festival at night pilgrims with pots covered with sandalwood paste go in procession to the mosque with six caparisoned elephants.

Kodikuthu (flag hoisting) is an annual festival celebrated on 14th January (1 pm) at Kanjiramattom Mosque. Hindus also widely participate in this festival.
