I voted for Nikon D90 cause I heard from my friends who are photographers and I am currently using an Olympus but it does not give nice colors as I thought it would.. :S

I am satisfied with my Nikon D3000. It is a really good camera for beginners like me.

I have a point and shoot Fuji but thats just for snaps. Have a Canon EOS 1000D which is great for more advanced photography, Am planning to buy the new Canon EOS 600D when I can afford it. Have had lots of different point and shoot cameras but if you really want to take quailty pictures you need an SLR digital or a very expensive compact with a large size (not pixels physical size) imaging sensor (CMOS), good focul length and great lens (Canon PowerShot SX230 HS).
