The Puducherry Tourism Department will be organising a vintage car rally and exhibition here today. Tourism Department Joint Director Subramanian told a press conference that the department is organising the vintage car rally and exhibition for the second time.
As many as 40 cars will come from Chennai and about ten from Puducherry will also join.


The vintage cars will be on an exhibition at the Beach Road from 1600 hrs to 2000 hrs today and will leave for Chennai at 0900 hrs, the next day.


Puducherry Chief Minister V Vaithilingam will iaugurate the exhibition.


Cars such as Austin(1927) Dodge(1933),Jaguar(1936),Citron (1946)Singer (1947)V W Veetle(1966) and Ford Mastang(1967) among others would be on display at the exhibition,he added.
