Whats MySQL and how do I use it?

I dont know what MySQL is for and how it works. Can anyone help me with this subject.

Well as I understand it, it's a database where all user's information is stored. For example if you have a forum and someone registers there, their username, pass, and all other details are stored in that MySQL database...
I can't explain how it works, but to use it just go to phpAdmin and there your database will be shown...

man, its a database that stores SQL scripts for your site that uses PHP files. In other words, a DATABASE THAT STORES DATA. :x

I'm do not learn php hard, but I'm using hard forum-cripts like IPB 2.0 and when I using it I understand php) So I learn php on scripts)
