I don't think overclocking is really necessary. I mean there is only so much you can pull out of your system, and all that coolant hardware... other than that extra cooling it's Pure aesthetics.
I perfer to keep my mobo around factory standards.
But why, when you can improve your PC with minimum costs? I have an overclocked computer, of course water cooling, and I'm very satisfied with it.
The only good way for overclocking is liquid cooling.
If you overclock without cooling you should damage your cpu
but you can do what you want!!!!
