Amala is emerging as one of the hottest actors in South cinema.

She is one of the top contenders for heroine of the year and has an impressive list of films lined up for release in 2013. And that too with A- list young heroes in Tamil and Telugu.

In a recent poll conducted by the Chennai based popular music channel - Which Heroine looks the best in a Sari? Amala topped the viewer’s poll and beat competitors like Nayanthara, Samantha, Trisha, Anushka and Kajal Aggarwal.

Amala was crowned the 'Sari Queen’ by the music channel, which has made her even more popular among her legion of fans.
