Ubuntu 7.10

Has anyone got it yet? Is it worth upgrading?

I got the kunbutu 7.10 version to check out the new compize-fusion merger of software. It looked very cool but even with a 2gig swap AND a 2gig ram i felt it did not preform too well. Also as quite a few laptops come with the intel3495 wireless cards it is note worthy to mention that the drivers are experimental and don't work too well. these are easily upgradeable. All in All I was disappointed but thats because I love slackware.

hey i had ubuntu 6.blah blah and i found it really easy to use. is this better?
