Start Windows XP more quickly!
By defect, Windows XP de-fragment files of the boot during the starting of OS. If you de-fragment regularly your hard drive, this defragmentation of the boot becomes useless and you can decontaminate it without problem. Thus to gain you a few seconds with the starting of the system.
- Click on “Starting”, “Carrying out…” then type “regedit” and click on “OK”
- Go to the key: “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Dfrg\BootOpt imizeFunction”
- To modify the key “Enable” by giving the value “NR” (“Y” by defect)
