Calicut University

The University of Calicut was established in 1968. situated in a panoramic plateau, in sylvan surroundings, on either side of the N.H.17, about 24kms south of Kozhikode city, Kerala, India, the campus has an ideal natural environment for education. The University main campus is at Thenjipalam, near to Calicut.The University has two Centers, one at Trichur, and another one at Calicut. University of Calicut is a premier institution for studies and research in the sciences, the humanities and the arts.

The University aims at developing technical and technological education, conducting research and training in the social sciences and languages, and promoting the arts and culture specific to Kerala With 105 colleges affiliated to the University. In that Post Graduate Colleges, First Grade Colleges, Law Colleges, Teachers Training, Engineering Colleges, Medical Colleges, Ayurveda Colleges, Oriental Title Colleges, Fine Arts College.
