Jeeva’s ‘Singam Puli’ seemed to have piped out ‘Ko’. The producers of ‘Singam Puli’ have announced that their film is releasing on February 25. However this was expected by some pundits when the promotions of ‘Ko’ suddenly stopped and ‘Singam Pui’ took over a couple of weeks ago. ‘Singam Puli’ is a mass entertainer and so the producers would have thought it could resist the World Cup Cricket fever for some time.

In ‘Singam Puli’ Jeeva plays a dual role for the first time. The plot is said to be the fight between an innocent fisherman Jeeva and the suave layer Jeeva who create troubles for the former using the similar look.

Divya Spandana and Honey Rose are the heroines. Santhanam, Livingston, Ponvannan and Lakshmi Ramakrishnan also play important roles. ‘Singam Puli’ is written and directed by Sairamani who was trained under by likes of Suresh Krishna and then SP Jananathan.
