The last date for submitting applications for selection as trainees for commercial pilot licence (CPL), private pilot licence (PPL), and only ground classes (PPL level) for the academic year 2011-12 at the Rajiv Gandhi Academy for Aviation Technology, a State government institution in the vicinity of the airport here, has been extended to June 14. The qualification for the CPL is a minimum 50 per cent marks in Plus Two or equivalent examinations with 60 per cent marks in mathematics, physics, and English taken together. The minimum age should be 17 as on June 2011.
