Kirsten Dunst Granted Temporary Restraining Order Against Alleged Stalker

Actress Kirsten Dunst was granted a temporary restraining order against a French man who has repeatedly sent Dunst letters, and recently traveled to Los Angeles to meet her.
Superior Court Judge Carol Boas Goodson issued the order against Jean Christophe Prudhon of Dijon, France, stating that he must stay 100 yards away from Dunst.
Prudhon has written the Melancholia actress more than 50 letters, and in one letter, wrote that he sold his home in France so that he could afford to travel to meet Dunst. Additionally, Dunst’s mother, Inez Dunst, wrote a declaration stating that Prudhon came to her home in Los Angeles hoping to meet Dunst.
On Dec. 21, a judge will decide whether to grant a three-year restraining order.
