Want to woo your Valentine? Try dedicating a romantic song to him or her in filmy style. IANS makes it a little easier for you to pick a love song and make your Valentine feel special.

"Kuch to hua hai": The song from the movie "Kal Ho Naa Ho" has a magical feel that leaves you humming the tune for days. Beautifully sung by Alka Yagnik and Shaan and shot with Saif Ali Khan and bubbly Preity Zinta on the streets of New York, the lively and appealing number is an apt song for those smitten by the love bug.

"Cheeni kum": The refreshing love song in the sugary sweet voice of Shreya Ghoshal is all about two people of very different age groups, played by Amitabh Bachchan and Tabu, falling for each other. It conveys that romance is not limited by age.

"Jashn-E-Bahaara": It has a period feel thanks to the theme of the movie "Jodhaa Akbar", but the song is likeable. The lyrics especially strike a chord with your heartstrings. Soulfully sung by Javed Ali, it not only portrays the grand and ethnic romance of the Mughal era but also brings in the cultural feel. The song successfully manages to take you back to that royal era.

"Tera hone laga hun": Sung by Pakistani vocalist Atif Aslam, the song is about how one feels when one falls in love. This is a youngsters' favourite.

"Mudi mudi": The joy of being in love is expressed through the song and Shilpa Rao's voice adds a distinct flavour to it. Featuring Vidya Balan and Abhishek Bachchan from the movie "Paa", it highlights the fact that love happens and it cannot be planned.

"Dil to baccha hai ji": The "Ishqiya" song expresses the helplessness of an old man, played by Naseeruddin Shah, who can't stop his heart from beating faster for a younger woman, Vidya Balan. Lovely lyrics and veteran singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's expressive voice have made it one of the sought after songs. Different yet poetic, it was appreciated by the masses.
