In a recent press release issued by director Sarkunam, he has clarified that his upcoming project is going to be titled ‘Naiyaandi’. The title that had earlier been doing the rounds, ‘Sotta Vazhakutty’, has been dismissed by the director. He also revealed that they are still on the hunt for a suitable heroine, while reports are suggesting that they are in talks with Malayalam heroine Nazariya Nazim, who is also working with Jai in Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah.
Other cast members include Suri, Sathyan and Lakshmi Ramakrishnan. Music will be by Ghibran. Revealing a bit about the story, the director said it’s a love story between a kuthu vilakku trader and a dental student told in a humorous way.
Shooting for ‘Naiyaandi’ is expected to start from the month of February.
