Lakshmi Manchu recently ventured into production with "Maranthen Manithen" in which she appears along with Aadhi, Tapsee and Sandeep Kishan. This film is to be released on the 22nd of this month. News also said that Lakshmi Manchu would be appearing in the "Nenjukulle" song in the film "Kadal".

Due to reasons not known yet, the song was moved to a different part of the movie. Obviously, this shocked the actress Lakshmi Manchu because she wasn't aware of the fact that her whole song will be cropped off from the film. Also, a big part of her role has been removed. She did reassure herself saying, "But I'm sure Mani sir had his reasons and I'm still grateful to have been a part of his movie."
