Web designers are able to build websites at the bottom end of the price range. They tend to be more style over substance and have great visual appeal.

Web developers occupy the mid price point creating online applications that are ugly and often over complex as they tend to develop based on whats easy to technically achieve and dont think about the user experience.

Combine both and you have a winning combination at the top end of the price point tho both will hate each other lol.
