Healthy Summer Drinks
Peach Cardamom Smoothie
- 2 juicy peaches
- 1 date
- a pinch of cardamom powder
- 1-2 cup almond or rice milk (depending on the desired consistency)
- a handful of mash or romaine lettuce
- 3 tbsp hemp seeds
Blend and eat with a spoon. It fills you up more this way and prevents mindless 30-second smoothie consumption. Enjoy each bite!
Mango Lime Slushy
- 2 cups frozen or fresh mango
- juice of 1/2 lime
- a few mint leaves
- water - start with 1 cup and add more to bring to a desire consistency
- a few ice cubes
Blend and sip through a glass straw.
Coconut Water with Lime and Cardamom
- Unpasteurized coconut water
- A pinch of cardamom powder
- juice of ¼ lime
Mix together and enjoy cool or at room temperature
Cucumber, Mint and Lime Water
No right or wrong proportions here. Feel free to adapt to your taste buds!
- Slice up cucumber
- Add a few mint leaves
- Squeeze some lime
Sip during hot summer days, especially after or during a hike, workout or any other type of sweating to prevent overheating.
