better scripting language for what? website design I'm assuming since it's posted in that section. I myself prefer Java script you can do a lot of neat graphics and such with that handy language. The only thing is that it's a bit harder to read cause there is so many short handed codes. HTML is easier for basic stuff and it still gets the job done. Heck I know people that can code things in HTML to make it look and act like java.
