PAVAGADH (CHAMPANER) - A world heritage centre by UNESCO, archaeological park with forts, temples, mosques & palaces, hill station.

Sultan Begada built a magnificent Jama Masjid in Champaner, which ranks amongst the finest architectural edifices in Gujarat. It is an imposing structure on a high plinth, with a central dome, two minarets 30 meter in height, 172 pillars, seven mihrabs, and carved entrance gates with fine stone jalis.

It is 47 km from Vadodara in Gujarat. One has to climb the hill to view the ruins.
