server will have FreeBSD as the Operating System by default. FreeBSD gives
you the most technical support, as well as access to our HiRize tools. FreeBSD is 95% compatible with Linux as well, so you can normally have the
best of both worlds!

IP
Address Information
In accordance with Internet standards, FreeDedicatedServers.com requires that a
proof of need is supplied for at least 60% of requested IP addresses.

We will not, by default, use additional IP addresses for your
virtual domains. Instead they are spawned from your main IP address.

Additional IP addresses (within your DEDA limit) can be obtained by
contacting support. They will not be automatically assigned upon the
order of your DEDA.

We will not bind IP addresses to Virtual Domains on your
server.

We employ a robust proprietary 24-hour monitoring system
that constantly tests all primary services and ports on your DEDA.

Because users of DEDA servers often require more assistance than
those of our shared server options, we offer free support only
for servers running the FreeBSD operating system.

We will install most popular 3rd-party software on your DEDA,
but we are not responsible for maintenance or configuration of such
software.
