religion - cause or cure of conflict?

I've read somewhere that mono-thiestic religion has caused the majority of the world's wars over history. So perhaps it is not so much religion as a whole that is good/bad/etc, but better to look at the intentions of each? It seems the ones that only accept "one god" as the supreme being, aren't very accepting of anyone that doesn't agree with them ;)

I'm not totaly atheist.... I believe there is "something"...You can call it as you wish....
