Uthamputhiran audio launched at a five star hotel in Chennai on Tuesday. Starring Danush and Genelia in lead roles, the movie is remake of a Telugu movie ‘Ready’.

Music director Vijay Antony, director Mithran R Jawahar and other crew attended the function. The audio CD was launched by veteran director Mahendran in the presence of producers Kalaipuli S Thanu, RB Chowdhary, LMM Murali, director KS Ravikumar and others.

Dhanush is much confident about the film and he addressed the audience that the film will be perfect family entertainer for this Diwali. Genelia shared her experiences that she was very happy to be a part of this project and she thoroughly enjoyed it.

Vijay Antony said, “I enjoyed the film during the re-recording. It is a super comedy especially in the second half when Vivek and Dhanush cross swords. There are six peppy numbers in the film which is sure to rock.”

Three songs and trailers of the film were screened at the audio launch. The production sources confirm that the film will be released for Diwali on November 5th.
