CHENNAI: After churning out hits like 'Aadhavan', 'Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya', 'Madharasapattinam' and the recently released 'Boss Engira Baskaran', Udhayanidhi Stalin decided to make his onscreen debut.

Much impressed with a comedy entertainer script narrated by Rajesh of 'Boss Engira Baskaran' fame, the duo started working on the project.

However, finding the female lead of the film has become a tough task for director Rajesh. According to sources, Udhayanidhi and Rajesh were ready to bring in Nayantara as the heroine, but she isn’t keen on the project. Rajesh hasn’t given up hopes yet.

Rajesh has two titles in mind for the film- ‘Oru Kal Oru Kannadi’ (the title of the song that appeared in the director’s previous film ‘Siva Manasula Shakti’) and ‘Nanbenda’ (punch-line of ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’).
