CHENNAI: Principal Family Court judge S Meenakshi Sundaram ordered issuance of fresh notices to actor and film director Prabhu Deva and actress Nayanthara, on Tuesday.

When the petition from Deva’s wife Ramlath seeking restitution of her conjugal right and another petition seeking to restrain Deva and Nayanthara from getting married were taken up today, the judge was informed that the notice issued to Deva was pasted on his door, but he did not turn up. The notice issued to Nayanthara was routed through the TN Film Artistes Association to her home town in Kerala, but it returned unserved.Hence, the judge ordered issuance of fresh notices. The judge also permitted notice through courier service and posted the matter for further hearing on January 21.
