My life has not been easy
hard times I've seen my share,
through trials and tribulations,
you were always standing there.

You lent an ear, and gave a hand,
and always seemed to understand.

At times when I was torn and weak,
and could not bear the stress,
you always gave your all to me
never any less.

To you I'm always grateful for all that we have shared,
for standing right beside me showing that you cared.

A dream is a wish your heart makes
and my heart makes a wish for you
That you may find a rainbow
where all your dreams will come true.

May there be sunlight ever streaming
into your heart each day,
May you find the hand of friendship
along each new highway.

And may loving arms enfold you
when you need someone to care.
And may your heart know that my heart
is with you everywhere....

and the pain is so strong.

So far from your friends,
and you're all on your own.
No-one to run to,
So very alone.

When all seems so useless,
and you can't take anymore.
As you put on your coat,
and head for the door.

There never was such a friendship that has made me feel this way it's been there from the beginning, so I just want to say,
You were there, with me when it was hard to forget

The things you've said have proved me right

Without you my life would be like the moon without the stars.

I would have no one to brighten my horizons and widen my spirits.

No one can come close to measure up to all the things that you've done for me.

Letter by letter my spirits were lifted and I knew that if I ever needed you were there.
