Here is a place for you and me,
A special place for only us too,
We have a special bond that no one can see,
It’s tightly wrapped in a cocoon,
We are fiercely together in this magical place,
Even through times when threads might break,
But every time a new one awakes,
To bring us closer and keep us strong,
In this very special place in which together we belong.

You helped me with my troubles and pain
Through thick and thin
You've helped me surpass sin
When I was wondering if I was anything
You helped show me that I'm not nothing
You cared about me
You worried about me
With problems I had, you gave me advice
You treated me with great care
Your trust you gave to me
And this I can see
I only hope I can do the same for you
The way you were for me
I want to be for you

To a friend who has always been there, to a friend who has listened to all my pain.

Thanks to you I have someone to turn to, someone to run to when things go wrong.

All the frowns I've worn that you've turned into smiles.

All the times I wanted to die, You have led me the way. Thanks go to you.

Without you my life would be like the moon without the stars.

I would have no one to brighten my horizons and widen my spirits.

No one can come close to measure up to all the things that you've done for me.

Letter by letter my spirits were lifted and I knew that if I ever needed you were there.

So thanks go to you for everything. For giving me sight for tomorrow.

Thanks to you I have someone to live for, someone to look forward to.

My problems have been few,
But of all, this one's the best:
To have a friend like you
