Viswajyothi College of Engineering & Technology (VJCET), established in the Year 2001, functions under the self-finance scheme of the Government of Kerala. The college complex is located on the Ernakulam-Thodupuzha State Highway. The college is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University (MG University), Kottayam.

Courses offerred by Viswajyothi College of Engineering & Technology have been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Minimum qualification for applying for admission is a pass in the 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Minimum percentage required and concessions for economically and socially backward classes are decided as per the government rules.

Post Graduate:
The candidate must be a graduate in any field.
Admission Procedure:

Undergraduate:
An Open Merit List is prepared on the basis of Common Entrance Examination (KEAM) conducted by Commissioner of Entrance Examination, Government of Kerala. For Management Quota seats, a Community Merit List is also prepared. A percentage of seats are filled under Management Quota. 15% seats are kept reserved for NRIs.
