Varkala beach
Thanks for sharing the list of Kerala's lovely beaches.
Varkala beach
Varkala beach is a heaven for sun bathing and swimming. Varkala is a well known tourist destination 50 km south of Thiruvanathapuran city. The nearest railhead is Varkala. The cliffs at the beach makes it a unique virgin beach of Kerala.
The beach is also known as Papanasham berach.
The 2000 year old Janadana Swami tempole in another popular religious place on the way to beach. Sivagiri Mutt on top of a hill is another religious place to visit.
