Shaji Kailash’s new film ‘Anwar Ali’ has Mohanlal and Suresh Gopi co-starring again.

It had been a while since Mohanlal and Suresh Gopi had acted together in a film. Each time Mohanlal and Suresh Gopi starred together, the results were spectacular. Take films like ‘Summer in Bethlehem’ and ‘Manichitrathaazil’ for example. In the film ‘Summer in Bethlehem’ Mohanlal had only played a guest role towards the very end of the film. Still, it was very much worth mentioning.

‘Manichitrathaazhil’ was a milestone film of sorts in the history of Malayalam cine industry. The duo is coming together yet again, this time for the Shaji Kailash film ‘Anwar Ali’. The film is going to be produced by Aroma Mani. Suresh Gopi has a very well etched out role in the film.
