MI dismissed Pune for paltry 118

Earlier, In an all-Maharashtra derby, Mumbai Indians and Pune Warriors India took on each other. Pune skipper Yuvraj Singh won the toss and asked the Sachin Tendulkar-led side to field first at the Wankhede Stadium.
With both teams studded with present and future international stars, the match is set to throw up some scintillating performances from the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Ambati Rayudu, Robin Uthappa, Graeme Smith and the like.

The hosts rested Davey Jacobs and replaced him with James Franklin, while Abu Nechim came in place of Harbhajan. Pune brought in Murali Kartik.
