Latest we hear is that actor Thilakan will be seen in a Malayalam film with Prithviraj. Thilakan will play the character of Madhava Menon in Ranjith's new film named Indian Rupee. Prithviraj will don the role of JP alias Jayaprakash in the film.

Reema Kallingal will be the heroine of the film. Tini Tom has an important role in the film.

Other casts include Mamukkoya, Innocent, Baburaj, Kalpana and many others. The film will be jointly produced by August Cinema and Capitol Theatre.
